Feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, or stuck? Struggling with self-esteem, self-worth, or patterns that no longer feel helpful? You are not alone. We all experience pain, stress, and challenges that can feel difficult to navigate on our own.
Counseling can help you develop greater self-compassion, clarity, and understanding around the areas of your life that feel painful or overwhelming. Through a relational and collaborative approach, I support clients in exploring these challenges, reconnecting with their strengths and sense of self, and developing new ways of coping, relating, and moving forward. Together, we will work toward meaningful growth and a deeper connection to yourself and others.
TRAUMA-FOCUSED
Maybe you or your child have experienced a stressful or traumatic event. You may struggle to relax, blame yourself for what happened, or experience trauma symptoms such as nightmares, flashbacks, or intrusive memories. These are normal responses to something abnormal you experienced.
Trauma counseling can help you:

Develop awareness of your body’s response to stress and trauma, while learning tools to feel more grounded and regulated.

Process traumatic experiences safely, so they no longer feel as distressing or overwhelming.

Restructure unhelpful thoughts and beliefs (for example: “It’s my fault”) to more empowering thoughts.

Develop healthier boundaries, coping skills, and ways of advocating for yourself in relationships.
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to help clients process trauma and move toward healing. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess upsetting memories and negative beliefs that may feel “stuck” in the brain and body. EMDR can be especially helpful for individuals who have participated in traditional talk therapy but continue to experience trauma-related symptoms.
FAMILY COUNSELING
Are you experiencing stress, disconnection, or high levels of conflict within your family? Maybe your family’s current ways of communicating or navigating conflict no longer feel effective, or perhaps you are longing for deeper connection and understanding with one another.
In family counseling, we explore family roles, patterns, and ways of relating. I help families build healthier communication patterns, deepen understanding between family members, and strengthen connection within the family system.
COUPLES COUNSELING
We are all wired for connection, yet relationships can be challenging. Perhaps you are feeling disconnected from your partner, struggling with communication, or hoping to repair relationship ruptures.
Couples counseling can help partners reconnect, improve communication, and navigate conflict in healthier ways. Together, we will explore both partners’ attachment needs, emotional experiences, and current interaction patterns. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples increase vulnerability, understanding, and emotional connection in their relationship.
